Students at the University of South Carolina hosted an Oxfam Hunger Banquet, designed to spread awareness of the hunger problem around the world. Students were divided into three groups: high income, middle income, and low income, and served a meal according to income level. The Idealists United at the University of Connecticut hosted a Human Rights Awareness Festival last week, which featured film screenings, a Hunger Banquet, a fashion show, and a fair. Students at the University of North Carolina will also host Human Rights Week.
