The Republican Club at the University of Massachusetts held a rally last week on the front steps of the Student Union in response to what the club members deemed a “pornographic” brochure. The brochure, which hung outside the Radical Student Union’s office, depicted an illustration of two men having sex and was intended to promote safe sex. The Republican Club’s president spoke at the rally, prompting counter-demonstrators to yell out and throw condoms.
