As another round of presidential primaries approaches, the people of Texas, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Ohio are gearing up to cast their votes and bring the country one step closer to determining who the 2008 presidential nominees will be. Over 250 students from Cleveland State University gathered on campus to watch the final Democratic debate between Clinton and Obama, while students in Rhode Island lined up by the hundreds to greet the two Democratic senators when they spoke at Rhode Island College. Republican Mike Huckabee spent the last few weeks wooing young voters with his hip humor, appearing on The Colbert Report and Saturday Night Live. At a recent Republican rally held at Texas A&M Huckabee performed with a local band, playing his bass guitar like a rock star before bringing cult icon Chuck Norris on stage. Despite showing his hip side to students, Huckabee also spoke at length about the economy and reminded students to take their vote seriously.
