Spring Break Keeps On Keepin’ On

Students from two University of Southern California groups—USC Hillel and USC's NAACP chapter—traveled to Covington, LA, to work on a Habitat for Humanity project as part of their Alternative Spring Break. Organizers of the trip also wanted to foster communication between the black and Jewish communities on campus. Ten students from Rutgers University traveled with seven George Washington University students to El Horno, Nicaragua for Alternative Spring Break. The Rutgers Hillel and the American Jewish World Service organized the service trip.
