Student Council requests removal of speech code

In their ongoing effort to clarify free speech rules on campus, the Johns Hopkins Student Council passed a resolution asking the administration to remove the university’s “civility policy.”  The resolution identified the policy, which states that "rude or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated," as an overly broad speech code.
