Arizona State University students Lisa Fernandez and Sean Bowie will cast their votes this August as Arizona state delegates at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. To be selected as delegates, Lisa and Sean, both Political Science majors, had to campaign and deliver speeches before a precinct committee. The students will be representing Congressional District 5, ASU’s district and the only district in Arizona that went to Senator Obama. Both Lisa and Sean, in keeping with the votes of their district, plan to vote for Obama.
