Student Hunger Strike Ends

Student members of the Stanford Labor Action Coalition ended their hunger strike after nine days. Members of SLAC reached an agreement with the University President, who, while not agreeing to all of their demands, agreed to raise the number of contracted workers who receive a minimum wage of $11.15 an hour with benefits, or $12.59 without benefits.
