According to several polls taken around the country, 68 percent of people under the age of 30 voted for Barack Obama. And according to one NYU professor, 20 percent of voters across the country were under the age of 30 – up 17 percent since the 2004 election. In no uncertain terms, Obama owes a hefty portion of his victory to students.
