Just in case you’re unaware, Cuba is still under the economic, commercial, and financial embargo first imposed in 1962. The purpose of the embargo, of course, was to isolate Cuba to such a severe degree that its people would force the revolutionary government to change. (We all know how well that worked out. Y cumpleaños felíz, señor.) But regardless of the embargo, students with the organization Pastors for Peace are traveling to Cuba to bring aid.
