Bryn Mawr’s One World student organization has asked their college
president to sign the Worker Rights Consortium’s Designated Supplier
Program. The program is aimed at encouraging global companies to source
their clothing from factories that guarantee fair and ethical working
conditions for their employees. If signed, Bryn Mawr would join
colleges such as Cornell, Columbia, Seattle University, and the
University of California university system in selling sweatshop-free
