In order to change Stanford University's intolerance policy, five
Stanford students from the group Leading through Education, Activism
and Diversity (LEAD) showcased a photography project of recent events
characterized as acts of intolerance at the university. LEAD, sponsored
by four ethnic community groups, displayed photos and reenacted the
events, making a public show of the importance of identifying and
denouncing intolerance. The group hopes to build awareness and
encourage their peers to report acts of intolerance on campus.
