Ten Student Government members along with a student journalist from Eastern Michigan University traveled to the Michigan state capitol to advocate for their University to be included in a bill providing funding for campus construction.  Eastern Michigan University was included in the capital-outlay bill last year for the first time in over 10 years.  This year, however, the University was not put into the bill.  This bill allocates funding for University construction that the schools could otherwise not afford.
