Over 200 Arizona State University students and community members gathered in downtown Tempe, holding signs and lighting candles, to protest what they see as inhumane treatment of Palestinians by Israel. The protest was held in response to Israel’s January 18th bombing of the former Palestinian Interior Ministry, which left 1.5 million people without electricity, fuel, or humanitarian aid, and closed the Israeli-Palestinian border.
