Students Question Free Speech “Zone”

Students at the University of Southern California gathered last week to protest what they call a designated free-speech zone on campus. University policy allows for assembly without a permit or permission only in certain areas of campus, which students say stifles free speech. Heated debate on free speech has been ongoing and intense all year at USC, and has affected aspects of campus life from the campus paper to student group protests.
