Two University of Southern California students are running in the local North Area Neighborhood Development Council elections. The two candidates, one an Undergraduate Student Government Vice President and the other a graduate student who has served on the council since 2005, are competing against two other candidates for Area 3 representative positions. Representatives of Area 3, half of which is covered by the USC campus, serve about 60,000 constituents during a two-year term, and are charged with representing their constituents’ interests through committee and project work.
