Students Violate “Three-person” Rule

In all, thirty-eight students were affected by a late-January crackdown on violators of Williamsburg’s three-person rule. The rule, part of the city’s zoning code, limits the number of unrelated residents in a dwelling to three. One house was home to six college students, who now have to go their separate ways by May.  The city did waive the fee normally associated with a violation of the law.
