Talk of the Designated Suppliers Program (DSP) comes from Smith this week, where students with SweatFree Smith sponsored two women from Nueva Vida Women's Sewing Cooperative in Nicaragua, and a speaker from the Center for Labor Studies and Support and Just Garments in El Salvador, to present on Latin American labor issues. Organizers of the event also were working to promote a United Students Against Sweatshops (USAS) conference.
