A new study released by the Student PIRGs New Voter’s Project and Credo Mobile shows that youth voter turnout increased 4.6 percent when students were reminded to vote by text messaging on Election Day. The New Voter’s Project is also sending volunteers door to door in dorms and student neighbors and calling students before Election Day to remind them to vote.
