The College Democrats and College
Republicans of the University
of Connecticut held a
completely student-run, student-attended debate this week. Global warming,
college costs, the War in Iraq,
the health of the government, and the PATRIOT Act were among the topics argued.
More debates are being considered for the spring (which we’re heartily in favor
of, although we might also suggest inviting the Greens and Libertarians too.)
