The College Sustainability Report Card is a study by the Sustainable Endowment Institute that graded 100 universities relating to endowments and environmental investing. Baylor University received a D+ for Sustainability but was not alone in low grades: the highest grade for a Texas university was a C+. Students from universities across California gathered at the California Campus Climate Challenge Summit to learn about global warming and what they can do to lessen it. Students at Cornell University who voted in the recently held Student Assembly elections overwhelmingly supported a referendum that would add a $5 fee to fund renewable energy on campus.
