Student groups like Student
Environmental Action Coalition (SEAC) and the Campus Greens are playing a role
in UW-Oshkosh’s plans to make the college an environmentally sustainable
campus. The administration has announced the formation of a Sustainability Team
to look at physical and cultural ways of making the campus more green. One of
the Sustainability Team’s directors points to the importance of convincing
students, faculty and staff of the need for sustainability—a role student
groups are playing by promoting sustainability and personal environmental
responsibility on campus.
