Soulforce is a tour of young gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people who promote the idea that homosexuality is not inconsistent with religious faith at schools that officially ban gay and lesbian students from enrolling. The Soulforce team (which includes students) made a stop at the Baptist school Baylor University this week, conducting an informal dialogue with students about their beliefs. Soulforce says they were invited to come to campus by student groups, individuals, and faculty members, but were denied an officially sanctioned dialogue by the administration (which allowed them on the campus nevertheless).
