U Recycle

When the students of Union College met with administrative resistance about starting a recycling program, they decided to take care of it themselves. U Recycle is Union College’s student-run recycling program, which has grown to 54 members since its inception in the fall of 2005. U Recycle has now recycled over 6.5 tons of material. But the students who started U Recycle are still hoping to make environmental sustainability a wider campus priority.
