Weber State Student Returns to Class

We love to bring you updates, and we love to bring you good news. So, we’re very happy to report that Victoria Sethunya is back in classes. For those of you who missed our first reference to Ms. Sethunya, a student originally from the African nation of Lesotho, she was dropped from her Masters degree classes due to a computer glitch that did not recognize her international student status—and no one noticed or notified her until her status with INS was compromised. After a semester of fighting to return to class, Sethunya believed her problems were race-related, and protested them as such. Not every issue in the case is fully resolved.
