What’s Race Got to Do With It?

Last year, the racially motivated stabbing of a Union College student by a Cornell student shocked the Cornell community (it happened on that campus). Now the sentencing of Nathan Poffenbarger has inspired The Cornell Daily Sun to do a series on race at Cornell (which, we’d imagine, is not so different from race at a great many other universities). This story raises some valuable points about how and when we talk about race—or don’t.
