If you don’t know who Louis and
Clark are, I advise you to wikipedia fast and secretly. But raise your hand if
you’re familiar with York, the Louis and Clark expedition’s most successful
ambassador to Native American peoples—and William Clark’s slave. No? No one?
Knowing full well that this is the case, Charles Neal, a Lewis
& Clark Law School student, has begun a campaign to memorialize York on the Louis &
Clark campus.
